Level 7 Diploma in Advanced Trauma-Informed Psychotherapeutic Practice
Authentic Therapy & Training are offering a unique opportunity to study a new integrative model dedicated to the overcoming of developmental and relational trauma.
We are passionate about the relationship between the provision of a trauma-focused approach and the practical application of professional standards. Person-centred provision and the values of mutuality, equity, empathy and respect are foundational to this course.
We welcome applications from practitioners who are invested in deepening their understanding of the practical application of theory, broadening their capacity and capability with clients and supervisees, and those who are working towards Senior Accreditation.
Dates: September 2026 to June 2028
Cost: £5250.00 per person (payment plan available)
Group size limited to 12 individuals
Course Details
- Mapped to SCoPEd Column C Senior Accreditation
- Accredited by CPCAB at Level 7
- Spans 2 academic years, from September 2026 to June 2028
- 6 hours of online guided learning per month in Year 1
- 4 hours of online guided learning per month in Year 2
- 3 day residential per year in March (tbc)
- Defining your individual therapeutic approach
- Research project in Year 2 (required competency for SCoPEd Column C)

In particular, Annie values sharing theoretical and ethical aspects of counselling and psychotherapy, and working with people who have experienced trauma and abuse.
