A confidential space to think, feel, and become
Integrative individual therapy for adults — a place to talk through what has shaped you, and to slowly move towards the person you actually are.
Welcome. My therapy offering provides a genuinely confidential space where you can talk through your thoughts and feelings in safety, and where your process of change and understanding can evolve at its own pace.
You may have self-diagnosed, been given a diagnosis, or simply believe that you are not OK. Whatever brought you here, you are welcome. I do not apply labels to people — I support clients to see themselves as unique individuals. We are all human, and all fallible; self-acceptance and self-compassion are the learning most of us need most.
I do not apply labels to people. I support clients to see themselves as unique individuals — human, fallible, and worthy of compassion.
How I work
As an integrative psychological therapist, I draw on a wide range of approaches and tailor my work to the needs of each client. The main focus is on building a trusting and safe relationship between us — one where honesty, acceptance and empathy empower you to become your true self.
My theoretical grounding is broad: attachment theory, person-centred approaches, developmental psychology, polyvagal insight, positive psychology, and the somatic understanding of how trauma is held in the body. But no client meets a theory. They meet a therapist. What matters most is that you feel met — where you actually are, in the moment you actually walk in.
I bring particular experience of developmental and relational trauma — the long, pervasive kind of hurt that shapes people from very early on. Much of my ongoing work, and my writing, is in this area.
What I work with
Some of the issues that bring people to therapy
The list below is not exhaustive — many clients arrive with more than one of these, or with something that does not quite fit a category. All are welcome.

Practical matters
Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly, of 50 or 60 minutes. I offer both in-person sessions at my base in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, and online sessions via Zoom — whichever suits you best. Some clients mix the two.
Fees vary according to context and circumstance. Every therapy relationship begins with a conversation, and finances are part of what we can talk through. If cost is the only barrier, please still get in touch — there is always a conversation to be had.
