My therapy room provides a homely welcome and confidential space where you can talk through your thoughts and feelings in safety, and where your process of change and understanding can evolve.
You may have self-diagnosed, been given a diagnosis, or
just believe that you are not OK: however, I do not apply labels to people, but
instead support clients to see themselves as unique individuals. We are all
human and fallible, therefore self-acceptance and self-compassion are the learning we need most to
equip us for the rest of life’s journey.
As an integrative psychological therapist, I draw on a wide range of approaches and tailor my work to the needs of my clients. The main focus is on building a trusting and safe relationship between us, where honesty, acceptance and empathy empower you to become your true self.
Some of the issues I work with include:
- Trauma & Abuse
- Anxiety & Depression
- Decision-making
- Identity issues
- Life changes (including aging, disability, redundancy)
- Loss & Grief (including miscarriage and bereavement)
