A unique opportunity to undertake a newly-developed level 5 training in the field of trauma, based on a new theoretical model called Anastasis.
We are starting the next course in January 2025. This enables therapists who have qualified at level 4 in June/July 2024 a break before undertaking further training. You will bring your experience of working therapeutically with clients to the course as a valuable resource, and we want to allow time for you to build on your confidence and experience before enrolling on the level 5.

The course comprises 13 Saturday workshops based in Milton Keynes (6.25 hours each after breaks) with 10 online evening sessions (4 hours each after a break), totalling circa 121 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).
This level 5 diploma course is open to those who have a level 4 counselling qualification, or equivalent training and experiential learning in a mental health role. It is important that candidates have sufficient self-awareness and personal stability to undertake the course.
At Authentic Therapy & Training we value inclusivity. Having taught our level 5 diploma course for its first year, we have been reviewing and experimenting with alternate ways to meet course requirements and enable students to evidence their work. Assessment methods now include video and audio-recorded evidence, with increased tutor-observed criteria and peer-feedback evidence to support students whose preferred medium is not written work. For students who value the process of writing, written assignments can still be done.
